July 2011 is shaping up to be one of the busiest months next year with my son's wedding and the wedding the week before - Jamie and Paul.  We have already forged a great relationship with this couple, since every time I turn around Jamie knows someone I know and vice versa.  Then of course the fact she's probably one of my only brides who I can sit and talk sports with and she knows A TON more than I ever will.  Jamie being Jamie Apody, the best sportscaster in the area for Action News.  And Paul is no slouch in the sports department either, having been a football player for Widener University.  As you can tell from their GTKY session pics, this couple had a ton of fun as they just did their thing, and all we had to do was focus and shoot. It’s great to have couples like them and many of my other brides were we laugh, joke and enjoy the moment so it doesn’t feel like work at all. Hope you enjoy these as much as Amy and I did.

Well, I've been looking forward to this engagement session for quite sometime, well like maybe 10 years!  Ever since Megan started hanging out with my son and friends in High School, she always said "someday Mr. Tomko, you will do MY wedding pictures!"  So THAT day is almost here, as I photographed Megan and Kevin at The Art Museum.  We had a ball - laughing talking, joking -  so I hope everyone enjoys these!

This session was very special and fun for me as I did the engagement pics for my son Brian and his fiance Olivia.  All I could imagine, was seeing him as a little boy, growing up and now he's getting married to a very nice and special girl.  Hope you all enjoy!  Olivia and Brian's "A+" Team will be announced soon - stay tuned!

Deanna and Mark are a nice, classy couple whose wedding we are doing in December.  Deanna was a little worried about the fact that her wedding pictures would be taken at night because of the shorter daylight hours in the winter.  So to help quell her fears, we decided to do some sunset and night shots at the Art Museum.  Here are some samples, and no more fears about night shots from this bride :) On a different note ironically enough I found out after friending them on Facebook that Deanna and I share the same birthday! What a small world!

Every year I head down to the shore to spend a week doing engagement sessions (Getting to Know you Session). This year's week was great with only one day with bad weather.  I always look forward to meeting with the bride and groom in such a relaxed setting, getting some awesome images, and really gettting to know my couples instead of over an email.  We always have a fun time, a few laughs and well............you will see below!
