Julie and Ken August 30, 2009 The Merion

| After torrential rains came down on Saturday and Saturday evening, one could only wonder what Sunday would bring. Well worry no more as Sunday turned out to be a "Picture-Perfect" ( ok I am corny excuse the pun) day for Julie and Ken. A crazy, hectic day turned beautiful with the breathtaking Merion as a backdrop for this wedding. This venue has to be one of my top five venues ever, where nothing, and I mean nothing is left out. The staff is always courteous, freindly, and can never do enough for anyone - including the professionals hired by the bride and groom. Anyway, back to the bride and groom. Julie looked absolutely radiant, being cared for by Marina from Nicole's Bridal, very discreetly handling all the last minute details of caring for a bride. A very small manageable bridal party, were very cooperative, and in the end, everything turned out beautiful. Another well-choreographed first dance, was carried out by this couple that really captivated the crowd. And speaking of captivating the crowd, the incomparable Eddie Bruce, was phenomenal, as the dance floor was filled ALL NIGHT LONG! This was a great party and GTP was very glad to be a part of it!

GTKY Sessions From GTP

Thursday, August 27, 2009 | Portraits
|

| OK, everyone has been asking, "Do you do engagement portraits?" Well we do, but not your typical "Show the ring, and arms around each other.........or "DIP HER!!!!!!!". Our GTKY sessions are almost like a fashion photo shoot, but also we do the parent pleasers. Most importantly, it is all about getting to know each other, so on the day of the wedding, we are just like friends. That what makes our GTP look so special, and unique; everyone is RELAXED on the wedding day! So here is a smalll sampling, I am working on a cool slideshow to show different images and places! I hope you enjoy!

Cynthia and Patrick August 22, 2009 The Union League

|

| This was my first ever "DESTINATION WEDDING" in Philadelphia. That's right, this couple lives in Bermuda and had their wedding here in Philadelphia since that is where Cynthia's family is from, and Patrick's family is from New York ( mostly all Yankee fans, one Red Sox fan mixed in.........lol) Anyway this was a great day, with the typical running around the city for all kinds of shots, some new, some old. Both families were an absolute joy to be with all day, and after attending their rehearsal dinner on the Moshulu and meeting everyone on Thursday, I knew that when the wedding day came it would be a blast! Total Soul, a great band from NYC, did the entertaining, and man, did this band rock! I am sure there were many tired bodies on Sunday. As always, Carl Alan did a pneomenal job with all of the floral arrangements, and the Union League, led by Jan and her staff, did an outstanding job, keeping everyone happy and well fed! GTP always is excited to have an affair at The Union League, one of the best venues in all of Center City. It was also a pleasure to work with Louis from Images Film + Video, ( with offices in Toronto and NYC), a very dedicated and hard working cinematographer, who goes about his job in such a quiet and assuming way, and the end result is soemthing to see. We first met when we did the wedding in Quebec, and he made such an impact, that Cynthia and Patrick selected him. Speaking of Cynthia and Patrick, they had an incredible choreographed first dance, that had the crowd screaming in excitement. The best I have ever seen! Thanks to all for making this wedding one to remember, complete with the always popular bobllehead cake top and cheesesteak bar! Thanks for having us as part of your day!

Dipali and Nilesh August 13, 14, & 15, 2009 Hyatt Regency Princeton

One thing that I love with my job, is meeting different people, seeing different types of ceremonies, and experiencing different cultures. Well, this wedding had everything! Tremendous people, very friendly and accomodating. Different type of ceremonies - for 3 days, we were with this couple and their families, experiencing the different cultural ceremonies that comes along with the Hindu/Inidan traditions. As far as the actual wedding day - WOW! It was a long three days but very well worth it, especially when you see the slideshow. Early Saturday morning, I met two young ladies, from KC Makeup, and before I blinked, the bride was transformed into an actual Indian Princess - what an efficient and professional team. I have NEVER experienced a makeup team like this, they knew what they had to do, and did it! Then it was on to Princeton University where we did some incredible images, using the architecture , elements, lighting, and just having the couple enjoying each other! After this it was time for the Baraat, the welcoming of the groom at the ceremony, where Nilesh came in on a horse. The Princeton Hyatt Regency, led by Anthoy Valente and his awesome staff, was transformed into a virtual Palace, with the incredible decorating of the crew from Stylish Events of New York. The floral and decorating talents of Bharat Thanki and his crew were second to none, as you will see in some of the images on ths slideshow. The reception.........FORGET ABOUT IT! DJ Monu from Magic Mike DJ's , had the place jumpin, as guests, young and old alike filled the dance floor all night long! Man with all the Indian weddings I have done, the color pagentry, traditions, and the dancing/music never disappoint me at all. The "A" Team from GTP earned the rest today, it was a long day, but worth every minute of it. Dipali and Nilesh, thank you so much for your hospitality, kindness, and cooperation for allowing GTP to part of such a wonderful event.
P.S. Image 1 is sort of a surprise for your Dipali, I told you this one was for me! ENJOY!

Veronica and Justin August 8, 2009 The Radisson - Warwick Philadelphia

| Well, the second half of my 2 week stint at the Radisson - Warwick Philadelphia ended this weekend and it was nothing short of spectacular as this couple gets the nod for one of the best planned and most cooperative wedding parties. We visited 4 locations, some of them BRAND NEW, and STILL had time to make the whole entire cocktail hour. It was a lot of fun, including waking up a security guard at one location ( boy he was mad, we messed with his afternoon nap....lol!), real cool shots at Parc, and then on to a real cool rooftop location for pictures and drinks. Then once we landed at the Raddison -Warwick Philadelphia, it was a great party as both families and friends did not move off the dance floor all night long. The staff at the Radisson - Warwick again was top notch, Suzanne and Lori take care of every detail to make sure everything is just perfect - this is one of the best venues in Philadelphia, always a great affair and we always look forward to being there for a wedding. Great dance music was provided by EBE DJ's and let me tell you, I bet you there are some sore backs and feet on Sunday, this was one wild party! Veronica and Justin, we really appreciate you having us as your photographers, and I hope you enjoy your slideshow; this song has the party feel that you guys had all day - ALOHA and enjoy Hawaii!
