...nbsp;This is a true Story - happened twice to me in the last 4 weeks....nbsp; I had received 2 separate inquiries from a bride, and also from a mother and this is how the conversation went.

Q ...nbsp; HI...nbsp; I wanted to get some pricing, and your availability for my wedding date
A ...nbsp;...nbsp; I checked the date I am available.

Q...nbsp;...nbsp;...nbsp; I saw your work and your pictures are amazing, but you are probably too expensive and out of my price range.
A...nbsp;...nbsp;...nbsp; HUH...nbsp;...nbsp; ??????????????

Q...nbsp; Well I saw you did Jamie Apody's Wedding and I just assumed...................
A...nbsp;...nbsp; Jamie was one of my brides, she just happens to be on TV, that is all !

Q...nbsp;...nbsp; Well I have been looking around and your pictures are just so different, different style, artsy, which is what I love, but I do not want to waste your time.
A...nbsp;...nbsp; Ok so what you are saying is you love my work, but I ...quot;LOOK...quot; too expensive right?...nbsp; So I guess that means that if I put up pictures that look like every other wedding photographer on Facebook and on my site, then I look more affordable ????????????????

THE ANSWER - chuckle and SILENCE on the other end of the phone!...nbsp; Then the response was ...quot;Gee I never thought of it that way...quot;.... and then in both instances, they came in and saw what I offered and signed the contract.

No they did not ignore my phone calls and emails, they did not schedule an appointment and blow me off, they came in and met with me and we worked something out.

Food for thought.

I sought out a couple who, becaue of this dreaded disease, could not have or could not afford wedding pictures....nbsp; I later found out that this couple got married while Melinda was in Jefferson Hospital battling her disease; so they were...nbsp; very deserving of great wedding pictures....nbsp;...nbsp; OK, so what, the weather did not cooperate - it got colder as we went along and started to snow - but she was an absolute trooper. I really thought she was getting into this modeling session!...nbsp; So I hope you enjoy these images as much as I did photographing this special and courageous couple!...nbsp; A special thanks to Carl Alan Floral Designs for providing the bouquet and boutineere and Secrets Limousines for providing tthe couple with a luxurious white stretch limousine for their photo shoot.
